Broken heart...
Sissy crying "Mommy you hurt my feelings. <crying>
"Mommy, you hurt my heart" <more crying>
"You broke my heart. <hysterical crying>
What did I do to cause all this heartbreak?
I told her "Don't jump on the bed that will make your tummy hurt more."
Really? I didn't know whether to laugh or comfort her. I did give her lots of snuggles and comfort to calm her down since it was a pre-nap meltdown, but I had to work hard to hold in the laughter.
I told her "Don't jump on the bed that will make your tummy hurt more."

OMG, your kids are super cute. I think I would have laughed! I can never hold it in!
Haha! I would have laughed too! I hope she's feeling better though.
Last night my 5 year old said "Everybody's mad at me! Sissy's mad at me, Tommy's mad at me, Robbie's mad at me, Daddy's mad at me, everyone in the world is mad at me!" Since he had just gotten scolded for doing dastardly deeds to his brothers and sisters (he likes to take things apart that they spend lots of time building) I really couldn't sympathize with him much. So instead I told him our rabbit was probably mad at him too and that meant it was way past his bedtime!
